To the entire Baird family, my sincere sympathy with the passing of Sgt. Ben Baird. Our paths crossed many times over the years; at Trinity Methodist Church, and with mom Baird, R.N. at the Blodgett O.R. and of course during our enlistments in the National Guard. the time I saw my friend Ben, he was the perfect Santa at Woodland Mall.

This world was made a better place because you were in it! You brought passion to everything you did...teaching kids about God and our Catholic faith, being the real "man in red" for thousands of kids! Even being the salesman - I purchased appliances from. God bless you for the many memories. You will be SOULFULLY missed. P.S. I hope you wrote that book you were hoping to do about your "December job" experiences.

We were sorry to hear of Ben's passing. During the short time he lived at the Villas of Rivertown, he shared his sense of humor with many of his neighbors. We are thinking of his dear wife, Rose and all of her family at this difficult time. Brian and I are sorry that we aren't able to give our condolences personally. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

To all of Ben's family, know that I love you and am praying for you all to find peace I in your hearts. I will miss Ben. He was my big brother and although we were far apart in miles, there was still that bond.
