What a fine gentleman whom I got to know and admire in the mid seventies

What an amazing man. So glad I had the opportunity to know you and have you as a Grandfather for so many years. Thank you for loving Gammy the way you did. I will forever cherish the memories Grandpa Paul.

It was with sadness that I read of Dr. Blasingame's passing. I wish to extend my condolences to his loved ones.

In an era when the word "gentleman" is often applied to any male regardless of character, Dr. Blasingame was the real deal.

A man of extraordinary accomplishment, Dr. Blasingame was a true asset to Santa Barbara, a city already teeming with outstanding men and women.

His like does not pass this way often. He will be missed.
