Ben was born June 28, 1974 in Superior, WI to Fred and Sharon Boyer.  He was raised in Phoenix, AZ where he graduated from Deer Valley High School, Class of 1992.  Ben received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  It was during his college years that Ben met Kelly and they married in 1998. They started their life together in Phoenix AZ eventually moving to Texas in 2007.  Ben’s professional expertise was in Information Technology and he was currently working for the Bank of Austin.

Ben is survived by his devoted wife, Kelly, and their three children, Cade, Mya and Lauryn; his parents, Fred and Sharon Boyer; brother, Paul Boyer and wife Beth; Mother and father-in-law, Jack and Kathy Moore; in-law siblings Katie and Chris Fisher, Craig and Jenna Moore and Cortney Moore; niece and nephews, Mark, Huck, Suade, and George.  Ben is also survived by his life-long friend, Jon Hayes.

Ben will be remembered for his quiet spirit and unwavering dedication to his family. He could fix anything and built almost every project Kelly came up with. Ben loved watching his kids play sports. Whether it was coaching baseball or softball, cheering them on, running chains, blowing up a tunnel, or umpiring….he loved it all! He was a humble man with a gentle giving heart.  He loved to laugh and was always a loyal friend.  Ben was just one of the “good guys!” Above all, Ben was a true man of God.

Not sure what to say?

I've been thinking about Ben a lot lately... Really miss his presence at work. He was such a good guy.

I remember attending school and playing soccer with Ben at NCCS in Phoenix. Such a great guy, teammate, and man of God. My prayers for his family and friends.

Dear Kelly and family, I just heard the sad news of Ben’s passing and I’m so very sorry. I’m praying God will wrap His arms around all of you right now and give you peace and comfort until you can see him again one day. Much love to you all

I feel lucky to have lived by you and your family. You were always kind and patient, and a great example of what we should all be like. I am sad you got sick. I wish you were still here being involved in the lives of your family and community. The world has lost a part of its goodness Ben. Thank you for being such a great servant while you were here. I hope we can do the same. You left big shoes to fill. We all love and miss you and look forward to seeing you when we meet again.

I met him when the family came to Illinois and visited The First Baptist Church of Cornell.
I have known the Moores for years. Jack n Kathy since school days.
My heart just breaks, for Kelly, kids and all her family and send my prayers as you all go forward.

His family, his parents need all the prayers from here on out.
May you ALL feel God's comfort n strength in the days ahead and know he is safe, free from all pain.
He leaves his love and takes yours...

Single Memorial Tree

Dear Kelly and all the family
We were so saddened to hear of Ben’s passing. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish we could be there and give each of you the biggest hug we could.
God’s promises are true, and you and I know that Ben couldn’t be in any better home than his eternal home! Every thing is perfect there. Praise the Lord!
We love you and pray that you draw your strength from the good Lord.

My heart goes out to you, Kelly, Cade, Mya, and Lauryn. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing Ben with us, his work family. Ben truly was one of the good ones. He simply handed out the smiles and sunshine as he moved through life. I will forever grieve the absence of his light in this world. Although I only knew him for a short time, he left an impression on me that will last my lifetime. I know that when he left us, his spirit was light, and his heart was wide open. Blessings...

I am so sorry for your loss. Kelly, Cade, Mya and Lauryn my heart goes out to you. Prayers for comfort and peace. You all were the sweetest family I got to know while working at the elementary. Love you all.
