What a shock to read that Paul/Benjamin is no longer here. Paul and I met in Copenhagen back in 1969 and wrote each other for many years. The first letters were sent from Portugal, Scotland and Denmark again, when he travelled around in Europe with Jo and their parents. Later from Canada, Bermuda and Australia.
We weren't in touch the last years, but I used to look for him at bencat.au - latest around 4th of December - his birthday. He was not there. I found this site, and...

So sad to hear today that Ben has left us. I was pleased to read all the kind messages and agree with them. He was a generous and kind man. We crossed paths in Raymond St when he brought muffins or sandwiches into our office over the last 10 years and talk travel. Love and prayers to your family and friends Ben.
