Benjamin Joseph Burkhart

I was very sorry to read of Mr. Burkhart's passing. I knew him only through stories of my father, Earl Kuker, who was also a linotype operator and who died in 2004. My father worked at the Michigan Daily and at North Campus as a printer and would speak fondly of your father. He even shared some of your dad's weekly jokes with us. Though I'm not sure how they originally crossed paths, I know my dad liked him and spoke highly of him.

I am very sorry to hear of your father's passing. My father worked with him while he owned Acme Printing in Ann Arbor.

So sorry to learn of Ben's passing. I'll remember his time at Horseshoe Lake.
