Benjamin Carrasco Obituary
Visitation will be Thursday, October 7 beginning at 5pm at Odessa Funeral Home.
Rosary will begin at 6pm.
Celebration Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church with family friend, Father Timothy Hayter officiating on Friday, October 8 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Gardens.
Benjamin was born in Pecos, Texas to Robert and Cindy Carrasco on September 9, 1955. He graduated in 1974 from Odessa High School. He served his country in the United States Army and maintained a long career in the West Texas oilfields and finally appreciated a slower pace at Home Depot in Odessa.
Benjy is preceded in death by his beloved oldest sister, Delores Carrasco.
Benjamin is survived by his parents: Robert and Cindy Carrasco, sister: Doris Carrasco-Biddy, son: Bryan Carrasco, daughters: Jennifer Estrada, Jessica Guevara, and Brandi Carrasco-Newton as well as 8 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his son, son-in-laws and grandsons: Bryan Carrasco, Thomas Estrada, Jayven Roque, Nathaniel Aleman, James Newton and Colten Newton.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Father Timothy Hayter and Odessa Funeral Home.

I spent 2 years in Berlin with Benjy. Have tried to find him. I´m so sorry for your loss.. He called my Dad when he was in Fort Lewis..Last I head from him.. He was my best friend in Berlin.. again sorry for your loss..

My condolences to the Carrasco family. Benji was a good guy, I had the pleasure of knowing. We not only went to school together but worked together at Sears our senior year. You´ll be missed my friend!
