My deepest sympathy. While I did not know Ben personally, I did grow up in Simsbury and still have family living there. I know how close knit the community is, and such a loss is deeply felt by the whole town. My thoughts are with you all, and my the memories of your son shine bright forever.

Dear Beth and Family: As so many of your friends have said, there just are not enough words to express the sadness I felt upon hearing of your loss. Although I never met Ben, Beth I remember all the conversations we shared at convention about your sons, my nephews and our shared family interest in skiing. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and I send my deepest condolences to help ease your pain.

I write with mixed emotions. I'm so happy that I knew Ben and have fond memories of him and Drew as young boys. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss though.
