Benjamin Leo Cooley

Benjamin Leo Cooley, 66, an area resident since 1994 of Dundee, Florida, a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Korean era, a member of the Toledo, Ohio, Police Department for 30 years before his retirement as captain, died of cancer at Winter Haven Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2002. Vigil services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 22, 2002, 6 p.m., at St. Matthew's Church, Winter Haven. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the church. A Mass of Resurrection will be offered on Wednesday, January 23, 11 a.m., at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Dundee-Haines City Funeral Home, Inc., Dundee, Florida.
