Not sure what to say?

I worked with Ben at Three Mile Island. I don't believe I ever heard a bad word about his work ethic, honesty, or personality. He was a good friend to play golf with - We never took it seriously and always had a great time. Only Ben would attempt to finish a round an hour after sundown in the dark. His stories of service in WW II always captivated me. Sadly, we lost contact after I retired from TMI. My deepest condolences for the loss of a truly remarkable man.

Known as Gentle Ben by the resident's at Golden Living, he was always friendly and wanted to shake your hand. When I visited my mother I would take him magazines (he was an avid reader) and he was always so proud to show me his family pictures and those from his military days. With sympathy, Sally

This picture says it all. This was Ben! Full of life and full of the dickens! This old warrior kept us laughing. His greatest gift to the world was his son Dave whom he loved so much. His heart melted for his daughter in law Barb and she was the only one he listened to! His smile was largest at the sight of his grandchildren and his eyes grew brighter at the first sight of his great grand sons. And Tali brought him that little girl joy. A sweet man who loved much. He will be greatly...

We wish to convey our deepest sympathy to the Cox family. Ben will be greatly missed. His smile will remain with us always. He was the most giving man you will ever know. Our thought and prayers are with you.
