My dearest brother Ben: I spent time earlier this month sport fishing in the Florida Keys and thought about how much you would´ve loved it. I wish we could´ve had more time together to travel and hang out but clearly God had other plans. I just try to keep doing things here on earth that would make you, mom and dad proud of me. Ben was a dear friend in many media worlds. He could take a serious subject like parents sharing custody of children after a divorce--and give it a humorous spin to lighten up the situation! I value and appreciate the friendship we had. He helped me become a better newspaper columnist. You are very much missed but NEVER forgotten!
