Although my heart is broken, words still easily flow through in how I feel about Ben. I began volunteering with Ben and Carol at Brother's Keeper Thrift Store in Ocala, FL in early 2008. Having just moved from New York, it was comforting to meet such a warm and inviting couple who understood where I was from and welcomed me with open arms.
