Not sure what to say?

We send our deepest sympathy to the Escobar family, Phyllis and Joseph Augusta and to all those who are grieving at this difficult time.

Benji was a special man and we were blessed to have called him a friend. He was that and so much more. He was generous and always eager to assist, no matter what the task. He was really good to our family, our children and our grandchildren. He was always stopping by with treats for the kids and never failed to give a hug and that giant...

On behalf of myself, Phyllis Augusta and my son Joseph Augusta we would like to extend our appreciation to all of you who ‘Loved’ Bengie as much as we did. To each of you with your kindness of words, loving support, continued friendships and shared memories; to Bengie’s daughters, grandchildren, sisters and many other family members. Being a long time resident of Imperial Valley, I spent 16 memorable years with Bengie; I commuted back and forth from the mountains to the valley. Bengie was a...

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.

I only met Benji a...
