Not sure what to say?

Dear Marla, Bill, Megan, Scott and Chris,
Our sincere sympathy on the loss of Uncle Benny. He hung in there like a soldier until the end. When we left the cemetery the day of the funeral you turned and said to me "Now Benny is with Louise." And I wanted to add, but thought I would cry if I said it, ... "and they are dancing together up there." I always will remember them dancing together at Amy's wedding. Will also remember his red wine ... one time when we opened one of his bottles,...

Marla e la famiglia ...

Not sure how much I can add about Benny, since there are so many very nice things and great stories already printed here in the guestbook. For one, Benny was a true original. No one in our family could compete with his colorful (and sometimes off-color) ability to spin a story or dish the latest gossip. When I was a kid, Uncle Benny took over the role of surrogate father in some ways, before my mom remarried. Most of all, Benny was my #1 fishing guide, as...

Blessings and strength to Ben's family this day. So nice to read the guest book entries for Ben. I had the fortune to meet Ben and his wife Louise where I work as a nurse. They both were such gems. My heart cried for him when Louise went on into God's hands. He would talk about all of his family fondly and of his "old" days in the war and his love and passion for music. I remember sharing how my own father, like Ben, was a musician in a band back in the day. I believe heaven is blessed...

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the wind always be at your back,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the Hollow of His hand
.

Marla and family,
We were very sorry to hear that you lost Benny...........he had a wonderful life with Louise and you and life in Roseto........we remember the trips to the train station when Benny talked all the way about you and the old days ............we also remember that he and the band played at our wedding........if there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know.

Dear Marla, Bill, Chris, Scott and Meg,
What a colorful character we've lost. Uncle Benny was always full of mischief, good stories of the old days told over and over, wild jokes, and singing a tune whether we wanted to hear it or not! We grew up with him as the patriarch of our family sitting at the head of Grammy's table every Sunday drinking his homemade vino. We can't forget his golf journeys to Cherry Valley picking up apples to take to Aunt Louise(of course, to make him a...

Dear Mary Louise, Bill,& family, Gracie & Netta,
Our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to all of you. Benny was a great guy with an awesome sense of humor.
There was always a good time had by all whenever we visited he and Louise.
Their hospitality and genuine kindness will always be remembered, especially during the annual "Big Time." Nikki and I will always treasure those Saturday nights at the Chestnut Street home! Those definitely were times to be held deep within...

Uncle Bennie was a character: full of jokes, family stories, and always a song or two. His nieces and nephews will miss him at all our family events. But we know he is now reunited with his dear Louise, our grandparents Pellegrino (Bill) and Maria Antonia (Mary), his younger brother Tommy, whose death in the Pacific in WWII was such a loss for Ben and the entire family, and our other dear ones, including George and Mark, who have gone before us. We're sure Ben is leading a heavenly version of...

Rest in peace big brother.
