Ben was my uncle. I am the youngest son of Richard E Franklin his brother. We often visited Ben and Marion at their home when we vacationed from southern California. Ben delighted in showing me how to pump gas and change a tire at his Gulf station in Trucksville. It was quite an experience for the young boy I was! Ben, Marion, my father, my mother and her mother (Lillian Williams) would go to Worlds End State Park to swim and picnic. Ben was so full of life and one of the happiest people...

To the family of Ben, Please accept my deep sympathy on the loss of Ben. It was definitely my privilege to know him through many years. He was one of the most humble and kind persons I have ever met. I know God will be really good to his "good servant". Rest in peace, my friend. Sincerely, irene Wisnieski

Ben was one of St. Therese's Parish finest. Always a gentleman. Always ready to serve. He loved his family and his faith. May he now rest in God's loving embrace.

Ben was a good man. I worked for him for two years from 1966 to 1968 before my military service. He was always honest, fair and ethical. He always had the 'Phillies' games blaring on the radio while he was walking around reciting poetry and cracking jokes. I stopped in to see him in the winter of 1971 and he treated me as an old friend.(see picture)

So sorry to hear of his passing. He would call my Mom at Christmas and wish her a happy holidays. He was my Dad´s cousin and a very nice man. When I was first married, he helped fix our car when we lived across the road from his gas station. I would see him on occasion at McDonald´s with a group of his friends. Always enjoyed talking with him.
