I was privileged to call Ben a friend and colleague for many years. His faith, integrity, and generous spirit of servanthood was evident to all who knew him. Along with many educators, social service providers and families in North Texas, I will truly miss his presence.

Ben and I were friends for over 32 years, we started at Southland Life Ins. together. He was the sweetest man I have ever known and I will miss him. I know he is in a better place now sitting at the feet of our Lord.

"It is the will of God and Nature that these mortal bodies be laid aside, when the soul is to enter into real life; 'tis rather an embrio state, a preparation for living; a man is not completely born until he be dead: Why then should we grieve that a new child is born among the immortals?"
~Benjamin Franklin, 22 February 1756
I will always remember Ben with a smile on his face and a positive thing to say that made your day.

I worked with Ben Franklin for 2 years at Allmerica on health insurance cases. He was one of the nicest people I have ever worked with and so very knowledgeable. When I left the agency, he was one of the people that I have missed the most. His presence will be missed by so many people.
