Benjamin "Bob" Friend, 37, of Belton, MO was tragically taken from this world Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. Visitation 12-2 pm, Friday, Oct. 28; Funeral service 2:00 pm at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd., Belton, MO. A private graveside service for the family will be held at the Raymore Cemetery. Following the burial, the family invites everyone to gather at the memorial station 602 Maurer Pkwy, Belton from 4-10 pm to share memories. Bob is survived by his wife and best friend Mackenzie; 3 children - Olivia (age 11), Jacob (age 8), and Alice (3 months); Parents - Eve Neugebauer and Jack & Claire Friend; sister - Tiffany Spiezio & Mike; Mother-in- Law Lisa Brower; Brother-in- Law Cord Brower and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Bob was preceded in death by his Father-in- Law Darrel Brower and Grandparents Bob Neugebauer, Doris DeLand, and Bob & Freda Friend. As an alternative to flowers, donations may be made to the family through the Benjamin R. There are no words to express the heartbreak this has caused. My family will always have the precious memories to hold on to of being blessed with my nephew. I just want to make sure that everyone is aware of a change that was made.
I just wanted to let everyone know that directly following bob's service will be a celebration of life. It will be held at the Memorial Station 602 Maurer parkway in Belton. While the family is at the graveside service all are welcome to head over there and we will meet back there afterward. We will have food and music, a chance for everyone to share memories.
