Benjamin F. "Ben" Glasgow, brother of Irene G. Jones, Lenora G. West, and Florence G. Fells, departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2000. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Avenue, Richmond, Virginia. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 14, at 1 p.m., officiated by Dr. R.L. Taylor. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Bennie, I hope you have found eternal peace, love and rest with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was a real pleasure having known you. To the family, you have my deepest sympathy.

Uncle Benny was my twin, so to speak. The family always told me I looked and acted like him. There was nothing he would not do for me and most others. He had a beautiful spirit. I will miss him dearly. I know he's in God's hands. Peace to my brother. I love you.

Bennie was a dear friend and when I say friend his character defines friend. i knew Bennie for thirty years and everytime you him he was always the same. Their was never a bad spoken about Benny that I know of.
