Not sure what to say?

Gone but never, ever forgotten. His love for people and his belief in mankind is so missed. A community spirit that taught me so much about the human spirit, and his belief that ithe Human spirit has no boundaries

Praying for peace and comfort for the family. What wonderful fruits he leaves behind.

Sending Light to the family

My thoughts are with you.

We are deeply sorry to read about the passing of Dr. Griffith. Both of us met Ben and had wonderful conversations about literature and history with him. He was truly a man of intellect and culture, and unfailingly kind. We are proud to teach in the same department that Dr. Griffith called home.

We wish his family comfort in their grief and pray for their peace and healing.

On behalf of the Mercer University Department of English, I wish to express our deepest sympathy for your loss.
Ben was a fine teacher, scholar, and colleague, and will be truly missed. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
I am honored to have known Ben as a friend, and to be the current bearer of the professorship endowed in his name.
