What can I say ? Class,honest, impeccable, tell it like it is, neighbor, tennis buddy and friend. I will surely miss him. Over 40 years playing tennis together tells alot about a person. Every thing about him was solid, honest and enjoyable. He helped me in being a better person. My condolences to the family and many friends. I'll miss him in church will remember him in my prayers

Marianne, Becky, Mame and family, I will remember Ben with great fondness. He always had a good sense of humor and a quiet confidence. May his memory be a blessing.

My condolences for your loss. Ben was a good man and I always enjoyed the few times that I got to play against him in the Rec. Board tennis tournaments (he always won) . As a school board and Rec. Board member we could always count on him being tough, but fair. Ben served on the Board because he wanted to serve the community and people and never had a hidden agenda as many do now. my deepest condolencses to all of the Hammond family. my parents were old family friends from a long time ago. i knew both ben/mame from when i was a baby and always made sure to stop by and see them both whenever i came to middletown. mame,becky,marianne will be my prayers at this time of sorrow. he will be greatly missed by me and many other numerous people. the janouski family.
