Mr. Hicks will be missed by every one of his students. He was one of the best teachers I have ever met. I was his student in his 1979 Chemistry class---I was NOT one of his best students. But I went on to college and took a five unit Gen. Chemistry course. I breezed through it on the knowledge from the Chem. class in high school, that he taught. And scored high in the class. Thanks, Mr.Hicks. I still remember many of the lessons he taught us ---most(Class of '79).
