Not sure what to say?

I don't know why, but Ben popped into my head tonight. I haven't seen him since high school. So sad to know that he is gone. Shocking that it was so long ago and he was so young.

Let´s go for a bike ride Hox.

Adrienne, I just heard about Ben and so sorry to hear. I hope you are still checking this and know I am thinking of you. Jeez. I will talk to you soon. Mummy

I had the pleasure of meeting Ben 29 years ago as a lifeguard as he enjoyed Frisbee on the beach. I'm saddened that he passed on my birthday this year, and despite that sad remembrance, I have great recent memories of Ben as someone I enjoyed seeing during my visits to TC. If not for Ben, I would not have met Tom, for which I am much appreciative.

Ben - what a great person, I have so many great memories. He was always such a cheerful and inquisitive soul with the ability to engage...

Ben was a great friend to all who knew him. My fondest memory was when he showed up on my "doorstep" down in ST. Thomas, USVI. He had his patented smile on, and wanted to hit the beach immediatly. I had to work quite a bit while he was down there, but as we all know, the explorer in Ben never slowed him down. Ade, Jon , if I can do anything please call.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. We also have a Ben Hoxie, who has received some of Ben's mail over the years. We met Ben at the airport and liked him immediately. Then we saw the family having Thanksgiving dinner one year at Mountain Jack's when our family decided to do the same thing. Our prayers are with you as you grieve for this wonderful man. Sincerely, Fred, Char, Lindsay Hoxie Eustice, Ben, and Emily Hoxie

Mr. Hoxie and family,

Ben was a great neighbor and friend-he is missed. I have so many great memories of Ben-we were all blessed to have his smile and laughter in our lives. The thing I will miss most is hearing Ben say"Hi neighbor".

I'm only a phone call away if you need anything-please call.
Hugs for everyone,
Faith

Ben fall of 2007

Ben was a great friend of mine a long ago. In high school we did the things high school boys did—played Frisbee, skateboarded, and played pinball at Maria’s Pizza—among other things…..

He was always very thoughtful of others and remembered his friends—recently, he ran into my mother some place in Traverse City and after not seeing her for more that 20 years, he recognized her and shared a few minutes with her. She spoke highly of Ben and I feel especially fortunate now to have heard...
