Not sure what to say?

My boys will always know their Uncle Ben!

I just found this & read all the comments. My heart is still full of sorrow. I cried through it all. We really miss you so much every day. It's still so painful some times but I've found acceptance. You were my best friend, my bratty big brother, I followed you everywhere because I loved you so much. I miss our talks, your voice, your advice, everything I miss! Thank you for showing me signs you're close. Dang I miss you bro

A mass will be offered in Ben's memory on Saturday, December 14, 2002, at 8:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 6730 Youngstown Avenue in Dundalk. All are welcome.

I remember......

I remember the little boy so tough and guarded who wouldn't let me touch him. I also remember that immense warmth when he felt safe enough to be hugged by me. I can look back and cherish the camping trips, and hikes through the woods discovering God's gifts in nature together. The trees he would climb, especially the pines never too tall. I remember the bike ride through the graveyard when my front tire fell off and he played Mr. Mechanic saving the day and...

While Ben didn't become a part of my family until a little later in my childhood, he was always the one little cousin I remember being in awe of. And it wasn't only because of all of the sports he excelled at... Ben was smart, kind, funny, compassionate, loving, well mannered, and always such a cutie! I also remember being envious, as a kid, of the awesome relationship he and Brian shared.

I only wish that I had gotten the chance to know the young man Ben grew in to, and regret...

Ben was a good kid and had a good heart, respect, and was polite too. He loved to help do things when he had time to help. Ben is going to be sadly missed by his grandparents. He will stay in our hearts and be loved forever. We miss Ben very much and think about him all the time.

I didn't get to know Ben for very long but what I did get to know was he was just a lost soul looking for help the only way he knew how to get it. I know this first hand becuase my son was there in Ben's shoes. God was the only one who could save him and I am so thankful everyday that i still have him. I only wish I could have helped Ben in his time of need, but as you know they have to want it to work for them to be helped. Ben tried in his own way but I think that he thought it had gone on...

I pray that Ben is seeing the glory of God who made him, knew him best, and loved him most of all.

TO THE IMHOFF FAMILY,

WE WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW VERY SORRY WE ARE FOR YOUR LOSS. YOU ARE VERY MUCH IN OUR DAILY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU AND KEEP YOU CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS FOR WE KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE HURTING RIGHT NOW. PEOPLE MAY TELL YOU IT GETS EASIER BUT IT DOESN'T IT JUST GROWS FURTHER AWAY FROM YOU AS TIME GOES BY. WE CAN NEVER REPLACE BEN NOR SHOULD WE TRY. WE CAN ONLY KEEP THE MEMORIES OF HIM ALIVE AND FOREMOST IN OUR HEARTS. BEN WAS A...

Ben Imhoff 1982 - 2001, a champion athlete and best friend

I would like to thank everyone that has sent thier prayers and support for Ben and his family. While words can not describe the pain for the loss of my son, I find solace in knowing that our Lord has welcomed Ben into his arms. I thank God for all the wonderful memories I will cherish the rest of my life. While the pain and grief is natural for us all, Ben would want us to remember the how each of us made him the special person that we all remember. I thank God for the occassion to say...
