Not sure what to say?

My name is Mickey Avalos. I was Ben's Company Commander in Iraq. I want to say that I think about "Ben Jammin,'" as I called him, listen. I am sorry I took this kind to post anything. Ben Jammin was a very kind soul, and very smart. I was glad to have him in my BN Maint. with MSG Pyrsbylski. I know his daughters would be 23 and 25 this year, ad we both spoke of our young children when we would be together. I had been medivaced out of Iraq the week before his situation, so I heard about...

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of...

I knew Benjamin serving as his Battalion Executive officer when he worked as my S-4 for the 521st Maintenance Bn. I new he was always striving to be the best he could be and desired to be a Company Commander. I was saddened to hear of his death. I was stationed in Mosul, Iraq when he was killed at "TQ". Ben would have gone far in the US Army Reserve with his enthusiasm for completing the mission.
