I live in the neighborhood and saw Ben´s picture posted. I feel so saddened for the family, friends and girl friend. what a good looking young man! My heart aches for you all. From one who has experienced this pain, it is hard, it will feel almost unbearable, but it is doable and you will make it as long as you choose to. Lean on the Lord and pray a lot. You will be in my prayers. Feel free to write if you need to talk.

I remember watching Ben and his sisters growing up at SMM. He was so good with the girls waiting for you outside the choir room. He would tease them quietly, while still being respectful.

I'm heartbroken for your loss and have been praying for you since it happened.

I am Theresa and Jerry Wicklin's daughter and although I did not know Ben personally, I want to express my deepest sympathy during this tragic time. There is nothing worse than losing a child and the circumstances here were so horrible that it makes grief even worse. I was so sorry to hear of this tragedy and the devastating loss of Benjamin. I know this family for many years and know their faith in God will be their strength. Praying for all of his loved ones.

Although I didn't know Ben personally, I met his mother and worked with his grandmother Fran for over 20 years and know this precious Christian family is grieving deeply. Please pray for them to be comforted by God in the difficult days ahead. I pray too.

I didn't know Benjamin. I was touched by his obituary that I needed to write to you and express my sympathy. He had a wonderful life that was cut short for this brilliant man. I have two children of my own. My grandson is closer to Benjamin's age than my children. Know that Benjamin is in my heart and prayers. The prayers are also for his whole family. I am so glad that you shared his story with us.
