Not sure what to say?

Kelly,
I want you to know how heartbroken I am at Ben's passing. He will be a part of my heart forever. He was more than just my ex husband - he was a true friend. I am so happy that he found such a wonderful love and life with you. I now know that you are his soul mate, the one he was meant to spend his life with. It meant so much to be included with the family at the services. It is just a testament as to the kind of generous, caring person you are. The Klimp family is a wonderful...

Being out East we did not have much opportunity to experience time with Ben. Reading the guest book you must have been very proud of him and will miss him greatly.

Please except our sympathy in your time of mourning and take comfort that you are all remembered in our prayers.

We are broken hearted beyond words at the loss of Benji - such a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend.

The years were too few and his love was so great....his whole spirit had brightness and warmth, like sunshine.

Thanking God for your loved one's life and praying for you as you grieve Benji.

We will always remember Benji. He faced his days...

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Klimp,
You may not remember me but Ben and I dated for a couple of years in the early 1980's. I just wanted to let you know how absolutely devastated I was when I opened the obituaries and saw Ben. He was that rare person who was kind, gentle, loyal and very caring. He was the template from which I compared all men afterward. I was so pleased to find out that he had finally found such a rich love as he so obviously found with Kelly and his children. He deserved everything...

Dear Klimp family, gecondoleerd met het verlies van Benji.
Benji will always be in my thoughts. At the age of 12 he came with his parents to Holland to meet family and to learn to speak Dutch, and stayed at our house. But when his mom and dad came to pick him up after 6 weeks he did not speak much dutch. He teached me how to speak english. Many times I'n congratulated for speaking english so well, thanks Benji.

You will be in our thoughts, and wish that your family and friends find...

Dear Tante Sjaan, Oom Ben, Kelly, Derrik, Audrey, and all other family,

We were so sad to hear that Benji (as we still call Ben ever since he stayed with us in Holland in the summer when he was about 15) was ill and passed away last December. We think of you and hope this will be of support to you in carrying this loss.

Hartelijke groet,

Gerrie van Nierop en Dion Kooijman
