Not sure what to say?

I love and miss you, big brother. You will forever be in my heart.

On this day, I send my prayers and condolences to the family of Ben Lambert. I worked with Ben for many years and never saw him lose his cool. It was an honor to work with you my brother in blue! Jerome Albritton (APD retired 2006)

Knew Benny from junior high and high school. Really great guy. Condolences to his family. May the Lord grant you peace during this difficult time.

Ben had a dry sense of humor that often caused a laugh between us. He was one of those officers you could always depend on and trust to take care of business. I enjoyed chatting with him everything we crossed paths at work. I won't forget that trademark smile of his. APD Lt. Ruben Puente (Ret. 1998), Currently Chief of Police at Dallas College

Ben was a quiet man who went about his job with little fanfare. He took care of any assignment and was as steady and reliable as could be expected. It was an honor to work with him.

Most family and friends called him "Ben" or "Benny"! To me, however, he was always "Benny Frank"!!! My big brother!!! He was the best! I loved him and will miss him...always and forever!!!

Ben was always real quiet. He and I got a long pretty well. I was really surprised when he applied for and was accepted into the APD narcotics unit (called Crime Specifics Task Force back then). He seemed to do really well busting dopers- who would suspect this quiet, very laid back long haired dude was a cop? Surprise! When he came back to dayshift patrol, we worked beats next to each other. Nothing seemed to ever rile him. Someone nicknamed him "Osama Ben Lambert" and when we kiddingly...

Ben was a true gentleman and a good cop. Blessings of God's peace to his family.

Ben was a true treasure all around good guy. Enjoyed working with him at APD. PJ #1346
