Not sure what to say?

Ben Levy was a dear friend, from 10th grade through adulthood. I first met him, when I needed a High School Project, where my friend Anne and I needed to interview a Liberal Democrat: the assignment. From then on, when I had a school project and later on, needed an attorney or just advise from an attorney, I called on Ben and he "was always there." He became friends with my parents and helped them, when they had need. He helped me and my friend Anne, when we needed a great friend and an ear...

Ben was my Sunday School teacher at the Unitarian Church. A wonderful man.

My deepest regrets. May his legacy
and desires for humankind to be more
caring continue in his memory.

We are sad to learn the news of Judge Levy's passing. He was a generous and hospitable friend. Our thoughts are with his family.

A great fighter for liberty and justice.

A great loss to the Houston community.

Ben married my wife and me on September 19th, 1988. He was gracious, forgiving and full of humor. He really helped to make it a very special day! We are honored and proud to have been married by such a great man.

FDR has lost his greatest fan. You were a unique individual. I will miss you.

All Houstonians should be grateful for Ben's courage, passion, and commitment.
