Ben was a strong leader with the ability to make everyone with whom he conversed to feel as if they were his peer and his equal. He had a gentle, kindness and a love for Loren that gleamed in his eyes when her name was mentioned.
What a privilege to have known this gracious, faith driven Christian.

R.I.P.Mr. McGibbens, you were our head boss when I entered the nursing profession in 1984. The best times of my career were spent at V.B.M.C. Thank you so much for the christian in you that always shone through. Enjoy your celestial home!! What an awesome reward to live for!!

Ben was an enormous man when it came to moral character, ethical conduct, and leadership qualities. He was a delight to work for at Valley Baptist Medical Center and his friendship was a blessing to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Loren, Kib, Missy, Merridy, Woods, Dr. Tom, and the entire family as you celebrate Bens memory today.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Ben. I worked with him at MIMC and found him to be a very caring and knowledgeable individual. He always built up others and always went the extra mile. Sincere sympathy to his family. He will be missed by many.
