Prater was my ex-husband´s legal partner & managed our annulment. That being said, I ALWAYS had the utmost respect for Prater. My takeaway of him is that he was a TRUE Texas gentleman that always honored his family

It was a pleasure to be in the Russell UMC choir with Prater. Now he sings with angels.

I met Prater when we worked at the Supreme Court together, as briefing attorneys. I was always impressed by Prater's intellect and personality. As often happens, our paths led in different directions as practicing lawyers and I had not seen Prater in many years. I know he was a great lawyer and a fine man. I wish our paths had converged later in life. Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
