Benjamin Alfred Oatley

I knew Ben from Steelcase in the late 70's. When we first met, my last name was Neubecker and he asked if I was related to Fred and Edith. Fred was my father and Edith was my aunt. He shared stories from knowing them in the early 40's, when he visited them and he took my grandmother for an airplane ride over their farm and barn. Ben was always kind and a gentleman. I'm so happy he had such a long, full life.

I Worked with Ben "way back when" in the Engineering department at Steelcase. Our jobs often put us at odds with other. But... we remained friends throughout. I have pleasant memories of working with him. My sympathies to his family,

Ben, you will be missed by so many. Thank you for being the best neighbor we could ever ask for! Welcoming, loving, giving, and kind.

My heart shares your pain of loss of the presence of such a precious man - yes, I loved his honesty, humor and kindness. I rejoice for him that he is now in the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ What a wonderful Easter he is celebrating!! Love and prayers.
