Vi, Steve, John, Mark, Marilyn, Kathy, and Joan. Ben Potts was more than a friend to me.He was a buddy and my mentor after I returned from Military Service. I loved this man and I can still hear his voice calling out (Daniel J.)as he always greeted me. It is an honor to call him a friend. Being part of the extended family for many years I have many fond memories of all of you.

Marilyn, Kathy, Joan, Steve, John, Mark, and Dearest Vi,

My heart is heavy for you this week and all remain in my thoughts. I was blessed to be part of Ben's family for a while and that allowed me to share in many wonderful family moments. When I think of Ben, I'll always recall him working those jumble puzzles, ordering chicken tenders for dinner (after studying the menu for 15 minutes), and asking "Where's Vi". I can almost hear you all recalling the past memories as you say a...

Hello Aunt Vi,

All 3 of the Stottman girls certainly married handsome and very charismatic men. They were diffidently all very much their own person. The nieces and nephews have very fond, loving memories of their "Uncle Ben". I myself have many memories that I will always cherish. Love, Barbara

My dear Vi, I am in Tampa, FL, living close to my son Dan and his wife and children, when I was browsing through the Louisville Courier Journal obituaries, not expecting to see anyone I knew, when I came upon Ben's notice of death. I have thought of you often and do want to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family in this very difficult time of mourning. He was a good man. Sincerely, Mary Lou Raterman

Dear Mark and family,

My heart and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Even though I didn't know your dad, husband, or grandfather, I can feel his life within each of you as I hear the wonderful stories of his life. May God bless and hold each of you close as you celebrate Ben's everlasting life.
