Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your service and dedication to the men who relied on you during the Vietnam war. God Speed!!

God Bless you Sir.

Am watching your story on The History Channel now. Thank you for all you gave for this country.

Dear Anne,
I am saddened to hear of Ben's death, but he's with the Lord he served for many years. Richard and I knew you and Ben and baby David in Seaside, California. Through the years we have thought of you numerous times, always with love. We have read your book and admire each of you for your struggle for peace and liberty. He was a great man. May God's Spirit dwell with you richly and grace be unto you. Love Helen Garner

It is with deep regret that I read of the passing of Col Ben Purcell. In the 1970's, I purchased a POW-MIA Bracelet in order to honor the man whose name was inscribed on the bracelet ~ LT. Col. Ben Purcell. I have tried, over the years to find the Purcell family, to give them the bracelet. I would be honored to present this bracelet to the Purcell family. Again, my deepest sympathies to your family, [email protected].

We are sorry to about the loss to the Purcell family of Ben. He was the greastest man I have ever met. Full of Godly wisdom, a warrior, and a gentle man all wrapped unto one person. Mrs. Ann may the Lord strenghten you and your family in the days to come.

Love, Lamar Deen & Family

I will always remember Col. Purcell. He had a huge impact on my life as a young man 35 years ago. My heartfelt condolences to the extended Purcell family, and the NGC ROTC community.

Dear Anne,
You and Ben were an inspiration to Seminar 1, the Army and your friends and family. We will always cherish having known Ben.

The Bob Williams family of Kennesaw sends our deepest sympathy and heart felt prayers in Ben's passing. My in-laws enjoyed your company so much. Ben did a minister's breakfast for me several years ago in Atlanta that was very well received. I know Ben and Bob are talking trees as we speak!
