Not sure what to say?

When I think of my 18 years in Stockton (1998-2016) as both a professor and publisher (CV Drum News), Ben Reddish is still one of the first names that immediately come to mine. He was a bridge and mentor to so many, including for me. He, along with numerous others, will be recognized in a book I am working on, “African-American Legends, Leadership and Letdowns in the Central Valley (2000-2020)”. My condolences to Mrs. Janie Reddish and the entire Reddish family. Fond memories.

Mr. Reddish was an inspiration to me as a student at Edison. My deepest sympathy and prayers to his surviving family, especially my friend Joey.

Janie, I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Reddish's passing. I had the pleasure of talking to him when he would come to visit you at Montezuma. He was a wonderful man, and he will be greatly missed. Sending Condolences to you and the family.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Craig

Some of my best memories of working at Edison for so many years were the conversations I had with Ben. He had a sharp wit, and a great sense of humor. We always had a joke for each other.

I had the privilege to work alongside Mr. Reddish as a community partner many years ago as we worked with at risk youth. I was incredibly proud when he was the photographer the year I was the recipient of the Susan B Anthony Award, So incredibly blessed to have been in one of many community members that worked closely with an incredible man wanting to make a difference with the next legacy.. a true leader. May the lord open his doors as his has left a legacy and leaves an incredible...

Mrs. Reddish,

On behalf of the entire Settles' Family, please accept our condolences for the passing of your husband. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this most difficult time.

I worked with Ben for many years at Edison. He was definitely a positive influence on many of the students there. He was always very organized and when he spoke at our faculty meetings, we knew his presentations would be "to the point." Condolences to Janie and the family.

MR Reddish was a great great person. RIP
