Not sure what to say?

Mary and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Buddy will always be very special to me and a friend I will always cherish. He did more to preserve Chilton County history than any one single person and we have all benefited from his hard work. He will be missed.

Our C C H S classmates, will miss Buddy greatly, especially the 1947, 1948 & 1949 who had annual reunions in October of each year and our luncheons we had in Clanton, @ the 3rd Wednesday of each month. He helped to organize and create the invitations, for the reunions, also conducted the meetings. we will miss him in so many different ways that even we don' realize now, but will as we carry on our work. I have so many wonderful memories of Buddy, but best of all I think are the treasure troves of family stories that he tirelessly researched and passed on to us all. We love you Buddy and will carry those stories with us always.

I was so sorry to learn of Buddy's passing. Buddy helped me with my genealogy. He was always generous with his information and I always enjoyed his company.

Dear Ken,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. There really is nothing to prepare you for the death of a parent and no words of wisdom to pass on to take away the grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your siblings, particularly your mom. Please accept my condolences.

Our family will always have fond memories of our cousin Buddy Roberts at the family reunions in Clanton at the Holiday Inn. He was a no nonsense guy but had a great love of family. Myrtle Jane (my mom) recalls West Point, as well. Our condolences from the Mississippi Roberts clan and love to Benjamin Roberts family in this difficult time.

My earliest memory of Buddy was in 1954 at West Point -how dashing he was in his uniform, especially to his young cousins.
