Roy was a wonderful friend, a champion host, who made my year in Los Alamos fun and memorable. When I think of him, I remember the eggs Benedict he served at brunch after church, the frosty cocktails he produced, and the gorgeous decor in his home. He was sophisticated, fun, and a true Southern gentleman.
I haven't seen his son since he was a newborn, but I send sympathy to Ben and his family who have lost a special dad and grandpa.
