Dan, (Benny)
I'm very sorry for your loss. Your dad was the coolest one on the block. As a member of what history now calls "the greatest generattion" he truly was one of the greats and will be sorely missed. My condolences to you and your family

Chris,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I will keep him and your family in my prayers.

Ben was one of those few, unique individuals who understood his place in life. He was happy and content, I believe, because he did all of the important things well. He was an excellent husband and father and a loyal and valued friend. All those who were priviledged to share his frienship were blessed. Thanks to all of you for sharing this remarkable man with us.

Some of Ben's friends from Sturgis

Vince, Danny and family,

Ben was the best. A fantastic role model to countless young people. Always smiling, always ready for the next game. Thanks for sharing him with Sturgis.

Our condolences to Mrs. Shervin and the entire family this day. Fond memories of Ben playing basketball at Sturgis and reffing games, and of a great family like the Shervin's from St. Joe's.
Rest in Peace Ben.

Mrs. Shervin, Vince, and the rest of the Shervin family,
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and father. As a classmate and teammate of Vince's at CDHS, I have very fond memories of Mr. Shervin. He was a loyal supporter of our soccer team and was always happy and just a very, very nice man. Although I have not seen him in many years, I remember him as if I just saw him last week. I am sure you are all deeply saddened at this time, but one thing is for sure, I'm certain...

To the Shervin family,
Ben was an exemplary father who had an incomparable enthusiasm for everything he did in life.It was a privilege for me to have known and learned from him.The Shervin household was a joyous one and much of that was due to his personality. His children trully reflect the qualities he possessed.I am sorry for your loss.
