Not sure what to say?

Ben Silverman was my doctor from a baby clear through high school. He diagnosed my scoliosis and sent me directly up to Dr. John Denton in Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC. I believe he was as shaken as we were. All of us in the Princeton area have been blessed to have had such a wonderful and skilled pediatrician. Carl Esche, Tucson, AZ. Hometown Hopewell, NJ.

Dr. Silverman and I (1982)

Dr Silverman saved my life when I was a sick baby suffering with meningitis... I was so sorry to hear of his passing. He has a permanent place in my family's hearts. Thank you Dr. Silverman, there aren't words that suffice. Forever indebted, Ellen Browne Henderson

The entire Lewin family sends condolences to all the Silvermans. None of us can imagine having grown up with a kinder, gentler, wiser, and menschier pediatrician than Dr. Silverman. He will live in our hearts forever.

Dr. Silverman modeled the person, teacher, and pediatrician that many of us wanted to be. I am thankful for having the opportunity to learn from such a great, kind, and caring gentleman.

Ben was a friend, mentor, colleague, neighbor, fellow Princetonian and an inspiration to me. He was an example of wonderful parenthood in all his care and fostering Steve's independance. Bruce Nickerson MD CHOC Children's, Princeton '72

Dr Silverman was an inspiration to an entire generation of budding pediatricians and their patients. His wisdom and wealth of experience taught us how to take care of children in a way no book could. His gentle nature and kind smile will be missed.

Dr. Silverman was a pillar of the pediatric community in Princeton for over 30 years, and all of us taking care of children in Princeton owe him our thanks. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Sincerely,
Princeton Nassau Pediatrics, P.A.

Dr Ben Silverman was one man who has truly changed innumberable lives - from those he has treated, those he has trained, and those who have learned from his writings... Although he may no longer be with us in person, he continues to live on through us all... Each time we cradle a child's head, console a mother's heart, or pass along a word of knowledge to a student - it is Dr Silverman who is there right alongside us.
