Benjamin Alloyd Stallings

Benjamin Alloyd Stallings, loving and beloved musician, husband, brother, friend, and mentor, slipped away late on Monday night, July 5, 2010, from this party to attend the next.

He is survived by his much loved wife, Joy Stallings; brothers, Charles A. Stallings, Sam Hawley and Eddie Devorss; close friend, Peggy Boylan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carleton and Joan Luck; his brother-in-law, Bud Luck and his wife, Anne, along with their children, Alyssa and Adam; as well as the fur-bearing family, Coyote, Molly, Broc, Schuyler and Sweet Pea.

A memorial celebration will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Christ Church in Keene by the Reverend Peter Way, after which the family will receive friends. Graveside services will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville is handling the arrangements.
