Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe we've been 6 years without Ben. As his friends gather next week around a fire after a long spring day of riding old bikes, the kind of companionship that we all loved so much, we'll raise a glass in memory of Ben. He'll always be on the ride with us.

Gone but not forgotten, time does not dull our memories of times past

Bryan & Marie in Old England

It's the time of year that we think about being together at Blowing Rock, and so we always have a special thought for Ben and prayer for Peggy at this time. His riding buddies will never forget him, and Peggy, we know that his memory always lives on with you.

Lannis and Fay

I was at our cabin on the 11th, but you were all in my thoughts all day. Although I know that his loss will never stop hurting terribly, hope and pray that his wonderful legacy and your memories of his very well lived life make it a little more bearable as the time passes.

It's hard to believe that it's been a year that Ben has been gone. Peggy, please know that we think and pray about you often, and we remember Ben every time we deal with our old bikes, the friends he rode with, the music he played, and all the other places he touched our lives. Those memories will never fade, nor will our love for you nor our friendship and respect for Ben.

Peggy & Family, So sorry to hear about Ben's passing. I remember him from back when you and your family lived near my parents. My mother always enjoyed visiting with the both of you. Prayers for you and the rest of your family.

Strain Family,
I am so very sorry for the sudden passing of your beloved husband and father. Mr. Strain is such an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. Please know that there are many of us praying for your peace and comfort right now. I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Ben while attending college with Beth. I know his legacy will continue to live on in all of his children and grandchildren. May God wrap you in His arms and guide you through...

Peggy and family, it was great seeing you all today but very sad for me. Ben and I were friends since 1962 on the Nike Site. God Bless You All and Rest in Peace Ben until we meet again.

Treasured memories of times past with Ben and Peggy
