I met Mr. Strickling when he was at John L. Cox. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he would stop by my office. My most cherished visit came last spring when he came to my house and we talked about my pipe business and hunting and fishing and good times. Ben was truly a gentleman that I will remember very fondly. I was blessed to have called him my friend.
