Not sure what to say?

I wish he was here right now. I'm going through some trying situations with my housing and my job. I know he could help. He was a master at handling multiple crises. Hard to find a good guy like him. JC

We will no longer get the opportunity to hear Ben´s many puns and to groan and roll our eyes. Rest In peace, Ben. You will be missed by many.

A wonderful man. I was a client. He brought calm and intelligence to what was a very troubling situation. He helped me to make it through a tough time. His presence was a light of hope and he was always, always, on my side every step of the way. Just one of those people who knew what to do when help was needed. People like this step in and out of our lives and are often there at the right time. I'm grateful for knowing him.

To Jill and Gary and brothers of Ben: I knew Ben for over 40 years when we worked together as social workers for the Evanston School District - overlapping at the same school at times. People laughed at our PUN exchanges at meetings - trying to outdo one another. He was a wonderful and caring social worker, a good mentor and a great friend who will be missed. Please accept my condolences to all of Ben's family members. Sincerely, Art Sontag

Jill, Gary, Shirley, We remember Ben as one of the happiest people we will probably ever encounter. Jill and Gary, your speeches during the service brought to light all those he made happy and all the good work he did. We are saddened by the loss of this good man. May he rest in peace.

YOU COULD SEARCH THE WORLD OVER AND NEVER MEET A FINER GENTLEMAN! Bem aka "The Joke Man" was down to earth, hard working simply- Happy all the time, plus he made you feel energized, youthful and positive in your thoughts. I miss him already
