I was not privileged to have Brother Benjamin as a teacher but I did interact with him in the bookstore for my four years at Notre Dame from 1958to2962. I did not know of Brother's life experiences prior to committing to his vacation. However I was familiar with the histories of several other Brothers. I believe it was that life experience which made them so special as religious and as educators. I value greatly my experiences at Notre Dame and the impact of the Brothers of Holy Cross ony...
