Many of the very best moments I have lived have been in the company Ben and his family. I'm so grateful that they have been in my life. For twenty years I have kept a note from him about friendship under the glass on my desk That laugh of his has been my daily companion, and after I shed some tears I will look forward to hearing it again.

Just a wonderful guy with a big heart who always stood up to help a friend in a thoughtful manner. A great story teller and he loved to laugh. Needed many more like Ben. Ben loved his family so very much.

Ben had that gift to bring parties together like no other. We younger guys idolized him. I never forget I got what I thought was a big meeting and brought Ben with me. The guy stood us up and I was embarassed as can be. Ben said, "Don't worry, he owes us one now!" That was Ben.

Like the single letter T monogramed on the pocket of each of his dress shirts, Ben's elegance was always understated and his style impeccable. Add to that his magnetic charm, his good nature and sense of humor and it's understandable why he was known and loved by so many. He was a true gentleman. I was fortunate to have known him since the late 70's and to have had him as a friend. My deepest condolences to his Ben's family. He will be missed.
