Not sure what to say?

Memorial day 2015. My family and I went to visit Ben at Arlington about a month ago what a sight to see. I have told my kids about my friend from years ago still can't believe he is gone but he is never far away .

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Sammis Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May...

I want Ben's family to know that each spring as the dogwoods come out in TN, I say a prayer for you and for Ben. He is not forgotten in the hearts of many - and if I forgot to tell you, thank you for being Ben's presence when Will finished at RI.

Ten years, was thinking of you on Thursday. Will be in DC in a few weeks, ill stop by and say hello. Semper Fi Ben

In memory of Marine Captain Benjamin W. Sammis. Never forgotten....

It has been a long time, but I'm sure it seems like yesterday for Ben's mom and dad. We are about to come up on the anniversary of his death and while I have made so many deployments since 2003, I don't stop thinking about Ben and how awesome it was to know him at TBS. We were in the same platoon, spent many a day and night together, and I was in An Nasiriyah when he was killed. It's been hard because I remember when he met Stacey and when they first went out. So much has passed in these...

Well, Ben, your buddy, Will, is gone to parts unknown again. I pray that you and David are his guardian angels and watch over him. Will would rather be flying with you both - in the skies, let him know you are there for him. You are sorely missed.....always.

You have not been forgotten Benjan

We have not forgotten Ben...
