Not sure what to say?

My dear friend Ben, I will miss you and I wish I would have spent more time with you over the last couple of years. I miss our long talks on the phone in the search of Robert's family. I will always love you as my shirt-tail relative. You are now at peace in the light of happiness.

Dads Poem
You never said “I'm leaving”
You never said “goodbye”
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.
There are no words to tell you
Just what I feel inside

The shock, the hurt, the anger
Might gradually subside
A million times I'll need you
A million times I'll cry
If Love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In Life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still

Brother Ben reafirmed my love of jazz. I enjoyed the many jazz events he invited me to attend. His chicken was a treat I will never forget.

Long time ago City of Roses Sea Scout friend. Caught up with him a few years back when he was working with Public Defender. An honest hardworking man that will be missed. RIP Benny.

He was witty in a quiet way; he was kind to everyone; he understood people so well; and he knew how to run the business when Sam wasn't there. Even though we didn't stay in contact regularly, we'd run into each...

Dear Benny - We will all miss you so much, brother. Your interest in your family history so oftened brightened my days.

Brother Ben, as I write this my memories rush back to the wonderful times we shared at Chucks restaurant downtown and the joyful late night hangouts at KBOO when you did your wonderful, often funny and always intelligent late night radio show and then to the many hours we spent together at the Parchment Farm listening to lots of wonderful jazz. I will miss your wonderful, peaceful, funny ways and although you have left us, your soul will always be in our hearts. Travel well and be at peace. Gary

Bennie, I miss you. May you rest in peace. Till we meet again, sending you Blessings. Josefina
