My deepest condolences to the family, I served with Welsheimer and he was one of the medics that always had a smile on his face no matter what the circumstances were. A true friend and patriot. I apologize for not being there for you.

I am so sorry to learn of one Benjamin's passing. Not only was he my battery's medic but he was also my friend. I was his First Sergeant at the time we were stationed together and before we were deployed to Iraq. He would make sure he had plenty of my migraine injections on hand. I loved his as my little brother. He always had a smile and provide a hand when ever needed.
