My husband and I were so shocked and saddened today to learn of Ben's death. We followed Ben from Big Ten to the two Trax locations because we liked and trusted him so much. Our prayers are with the Whitfield family. He was a good man and will be sorely missed.

Ben was a great man who will be remembered and missed by us all.

Please accept our deepest condolences. Ben will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Becky, Whit and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sixty is way to young to depart from family and friends.
I was a Phi Kappa with Ben and Whit during high school. I still look back at those times and smile. Some of the best times in my life and I know Ben enjoyed it also. He was a good football player.
My prayers are with you. We lost our 23 year olg son a few years back and faith in God has kept me going.

Becky, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband Ben. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynda, Whit, and Mr. Whitfield, and of course all of the rest of the family that I have not met,
I am so very sorry for the sudden loss of precious Ben. I can still picture both of our families growing up at your Mama and Daddy's house in Llanfair and all of the wonderful times and fellowship we all shared together. Ben will most certainly be missed. May God wrap His loving arms around you during this time of sorrow.
