I also just heard about Ben's passing. I am not surprised at all about Ben's interesting obituary. He was a quiet great guy and a big part of our Class of 1961. I also was a classmate of Ben's for 10 years at Bloomfield Central School and have many wonderful memories of sharing classes, sports and church with Ben and his Parents. Just heard of Ben’s passing. His obituary is pretty accurate, as he was really a good guy, just like his parents.
Ben and I were classmates at BCS ‘61 for 10 years and played basketball, baseball and soccer together. In fact, I ate with the Wilkinsons before EVERY SINGLE BB GAME for 4 years; every single meal the same (creamed peas and carrots on toast) while sitting in the same spot. Not that we were superstitious or anything! And Ben’s parents never missed a game, home or away.

Having worked with Ben at Du Pont, I can truly say he was one of the kindest, caring, most beautiful souls on the planet. God bless his family. So sorry for your loss. Carol
