Just came across this. Very sad. I was a cousin - Richard Sanders. Son of Dave and Helen/Sophie. Ben was about 10-12 yeas older than me. As I grew older, and got to know him - and Ira and Anne - I appreciated how kind and generous his was with his time and attention. Over time, I came to see him as a kind of person to aspire to - a role model, I suppose. Hard-working, a good student, pleasant, thoughtful and kind to everyone. I was saddened to hear that Ben had passed away. I joined Rutgers Business School staff a year ago and had the pleasure of speaking with Ben at numerous events. In fact, I looked forward to seeing him and would email him in advance to see if he was attending. He was kind, engaging, and very interesting. Ben and I worked together at OLYMPIC PARK as teenagers and were close friends. So sorry to hear of his passing.
