Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. - Lemont Obituary

May 25, 1991 – October 20, 2019

Benjamin Jeremiah Wyss, 28, passed away October 20, 2019. Loving son of Thomas and Laura Wyss. Brother to Jacob (Jenny) Wyss of Mokena, IL. Beloved grandson of Robert and Jean Wyss and the late Connie and Lorraine Schuda. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends that he cherished. He was employed at CDW in Chicago as a Senior Account Manager.

Loved by many, the memory of his ear to ear grin and golden heart will endlessly continue to touch everyone he came in contact with for a lifetime. His enthusiasm for bringing joy to his friends and family will go on forever. His eagerness to help any friend or stranger with any means possible will never be forgotten. His life’s journey to bring happiness to all will live on through everyone whose path he crossed.

His passion for football started in peewee Burros football as an undersized lineman who played like he was the size of Ray Lewis. Lover of Peanut Tillman and Ed Reed made him the most intense person to try and watch a game with. Anyone who knew Ben understood his blood ran purple, black, and gold.

He created many memories in Pentwater, Michigan, with his “Lemontsters” family, as well as pushing the absolute limit on his snowboard in any snow bearing state. Uncle to Luca Theilmann, he made sure his legacy for Air Jordan’s and anything Ravens football would not go forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Ben to support the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, 225 East Chicago Avenue, Box 4, Chicago, IL 60611 or foundation.luriechildrens.org/BenWyss
